Another World

Another world is not only possible,
She is on her way.
On a quiet day I can hear her breathing,
I can hear her breathing

Low 1:
Can you hear her breathing? (x8)

Low 2:
In and out and in and out and,
In and out and in and out (x2)

High:
Listen, listen to her breathing,
Listen, listen to her breathing (x2)

Another World score

I am very happy for this song to be used and sung out into the world to help re-orientate our actions towards hope, again and again. If you are able to, you could consider making a donation to an organisation supporting climate activists in exchange for the song, or donate to me through the ‘buy me a coffee’ button on this website and I will pass it on. But I don’t want money to be a barrier to the song being sung!

Hi Jane, I’d like to link to this from our list of free music at choirsforclimate.com – is this free to download and use elsewhere?

Also, do you have permission from Arundhati Roy to use the words? (I’m not sure it’s strictly required when it’s a short paraphrased quote like this, just wanted to know)

I’m also based in Edinburgh (Liberton) – let me know if you’d like to get a coffee and discuss future climate&singing work sometime.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Your another world song is so spacious and so evocative of the gentleness of calm breathing. It is full of hope and reverence. I would love to share it at Dancing Spirit camp this year. I will make a donation xx
