Ladies Guerilla String Quartet

Four women standing in the orchard - 3 wearing blond ewigs, one wearing a rabbit suit
I play cello in the Ladies Guerilla String Quartet. From village show, to Edinburgh Castle, from West End Salons to Scotmid shop floor , from the Donkeyfield Community orchard to protests outside Holyrood – expect the unexpected from the Ladies Guerilla String Quartet. If you would like a fun quartet to pop up and brighten up your event give us a shout!

Alison Cowie (on the far right in this first photo) sadly died in January 2022. We are full of gratitude for all that Alison brought to this life and her beautiful fiddle playing. Before she died she created a website with some of the tunes she wrote – please do hop over there and have a listen.

Quartet playing outside Holyrood ParliamentWe are very fortunate that Jenny Gardner has now joined LGSQ on fiddle (and need some up to date photos!)
