Rachel lives just round the corner from me and we originally got to know each other when our children were at Woodcraft Folk together – so we have been on plenty of walks together over the years, but never just the two of us. It was an unseasonably warm and sunny Sunday morning and I went out without a coat! Even though I know this path really well, Rachel took me along one path beside the school that I had never been on before. We talked about supporting elderly parents and when we might retire!
