We started with coffee and scone/cake at Balerno kirk! Joined by a merry band of PiHers – Lesley, Hilery, May and Mary – I was delighted to discover Malleny Rose Garden, having driven past on the way to walks in the Pentlands on many occasions. This walk was reminder of how much there is to discover on the fringes of Edinburgh.
