I am writing this up a good few months after the walk due to a busy few months supporting my Mum in hospital in Birmingham. Maybe Jane can remember what the weather was doing on this day?! I loved discovering a new patch of local woodland, the dappled light through the trees, chatting about birds and trees and walks in USA and UK and fondly remembering Jane’s partner, Brian, with whom she used to walk these woods.
