#16 Jupiter Artland with Jo

May 19, 2024 Filed Under: 60 walks with 60 friends

May 19th
I haven’t been to Jupiter Artland in May before. It was really delightful to be watching Coot chicks, admiring elm flowers and the last of the bluebells in the woods. Jo and I each showed each other scuptures we hadn’t seen before, and neither of us had seen Tracey Emin’s ‘I lay here for you’ – a woman lying in the woods in expectation of love. As someone who has crocheted  and made a mosaic of a snail, I loved the colourful water feature celebrating snails. Excellent chat, mushroom soup and coffee too!
